This layout is exactly what I was thinking about. The description states the playable area is 43″ wide x 21.5″ high. My plan is to use this layout as a practice rig for testing strategies. I want to put this on top of a 2x4 piece of plywood. Do you think this will work if centered on the plywood? Does this layout have a "rubber" backing that would be difficult to secure to the underside of the plywood or is it just felt that can be stapled or secured with spray adhesive? Yes, this will work great on a piece of plywood. The 43" playable area is from white Pass line to white Pass line. At 54" printed, this gives enough printed green background to wrap around and under the plywood.
No backing is provided - its just the felt so you can secure with staples under the table or with spray adhesive per your preference. Casinos use different kinds of underlayment so you are able to tune your table to how you want to play/practice. See our article on the different types of
